Connect Plus500 to Finbooks via CSV

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from Plus500 to Finbooks using two exported files.


What to upload

To connect Plus500 to Finbooks, you’ll need two files:

  • Closed positions chronology: includes the chronological list of closed positions (buy/sell) with open/close details and results

  • Cash flow report: includes deposits, withdrawals, fees, adjustments and cash movements

⚠You must import the complete history of your Plus500 account

Both files must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you used Plus500 until the day you generate the reports.


How to download the Closed positions chronology

Follow these steps to generate the closed positions file from Plus500:

  1. log in to your Plus500 account

  2. from the left sidebar, click on Closed Positions

  3. set the date range using the fields From and To

  4. click on View

  5. click the Email icon (next to view) to request the report via email

  6. open the email sent by Plus500 and download the attached file


How to download the Cash flow report

Follow these steps to generate the cash flow file from Plus500:

  1. log in to your Plus500 account

  2. from the left sidebar, click the Menu icon

  3. click on Tools

  4. click on Reports

  5. click on Account statement and select Cashflow

  6. set the date range using the fields From and To

  7. click View

  8. click the Email icon to request the report via email

  9. open the email sent by Plus500 and download the attached file
