Connect eToro TradFi to Finbooks via Excel file

🟣 User guide for Traditional Finance

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from eToro to Finbooks via file Excel.

🚨 Limitations

The file provided by eToro does not allow distinguishing between Long and Short positions. This may result in an overestimated portfolio value, as Finbooks is unable to correctly identify the direction of certain transactions based on the data available in the file.

What you need to upload to Finbooks

To connect eToro to Finbooks, you’ll need the following file:

  • Account Statement: contains the history of your eToro account. It mustn't be edited before uploading to Finbooks.

⚠️ Attention
The Account Statement must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you used eToro until the date you generate the report.
If you are unsure of the exact start date, we recommend selecting January 1st of the first year you started using eToro to ensure full coverage.
