What you need to upload to Finbooks
To connect MetaTrader5 to Finbooks, youâll need the following file:
Account statement: this file contains your full transaction history.
â ïž You must import the complete history of your MT5 account
The Account Statement must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you used MetaTrader5 until the date you download the report. If the full history cannot be downloaded in a single file, you can upload multiple Excel files, as long as together they cover the whole period without gaps.
How to download the Account statement from MT5
Follow these steps to download an Excel file from MetaTrader5:
log in to your MetaTrader5 account
navigate to the bottom of the platform where you find the Toolbox
click on the History tab
right click anywhere in the history section
from the dropdown menu select the desidered timeframe (all history, last 3 months, last month or custom period)
right click again and click on Report
select XML (MS office Excel 2007) as file format
lastly, save the downloaded file on your computer
