What you need to upload to Finbooks

To connect MetaTrader4 to Finbooks, you’ll need the following file:

  • Account statement: this file contains your full transaction history.

⚠ You must import the complete history of your MT4 account
The Account Statement must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you used MetaTrader4 until the date you download the report. If the full history cannot be downloaded in a single file, you can upload multiple HTML files, as long as together they cover the whole period without gaps.


How to download the Account statement from MT4

Follow these steps to download an HTML file from MetaTrader4:

  1. log in to your MetaTrader4 account

  2. navigate to the bottom of the platform where you find the Toolbox

  3. click on the History tab

  4. right click anywhere in the history section

  5. from the dropdown menu select the desired timeframe (all history, last 3 months, last month or custom period)

  6. right click again and click on Report

  7. lastly, save the downloaded file on your computer
