What you need to upload to Finbooks
To connect Interactive Brokers to Finbooks, youâll need the following CSV file:
Activity Statement CSV: contains the full history of your Interactive Brokers account, including trades, balances, fees, and crypto activities
â ïž You must import the complete history of your IBKR account
The Activity Statement must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you used Interactive Brokers until the date you download the report. If the full history cannot be downloaded in a single file, you can upload multiple CSV files, as long as together they cover the whole period without gaps.
How to download the Activity Statement CSV
Follow these steps to download a CSV file from Interactive Brokers:
log in to your Interactive Brokers account
from the top navigation bar, click Performance & Reports
from the dropdown menu, select Reports
you will see a list of predefined reports, select Activity Statement
on the Activity Statement row, click the arrow on the right
a pop-up (modal) will open, where you can configure the report period:
set the start date as the first date you started using Interactive Brokers
set the end date as the current date (or the day you are downloading the file)
enable the option to include crypto activities
under multi-account format, select consolidated summary
click Download CSV
