Read this guide to understand the meaning of the information contained in the Capital Gain Report.

On the first page of the report, we find the following information from top to bottom:

  • Logo and name of Finbooks

  • Report title

  • Request date and user email

  • Capital gain/loss

  • Period (from - to)

  • Accounting country


Report Details

These are the information available on each row of the report.

  • currency OUT: indicated the token/asset sold

  • currency IN: indicates the token/asset bought

  • amount OUT: the number of units of the asset sold

  • amount IN: the number of units of the asset bought

  • value OUT: the fiat value of the asset sold

  • value IN: the fiat value of the asset bought

  • unit price: the price of one unit of the asset sold

  • gain/loss: the profit or loss generated by the transaction

  • date: date and time of when the transaction occured

  • connection: the source where the transaction took place

  • fee currency: currency used to pay the fee

  • fee amount: number of units of the asset used to pay the fee

  • fee value: total fiat value of the fee paid

  • fee charging price: acquisition cost of the fee spent

  • transaction ID: usable to locate and retrieve the transaction in your Finbooks account
