In this article, you'll find all the information you need to connect Gemini to Finbooks via API and automatically import the transactions you made on your exchange.

on Gemini click on the profile icon at the top right corner of your screen

click on API from the menu shown on the left side of your screen

complete the authentication process required by the exchange

in the API keys window select Primary

in the new window you will see the following:

1. API key name
2. API key
3. API secret
4. a message prompting you to copy and store the secret API key in a safe place, as you will not be able to retrieve it again (make sure to copy both API keys)

tick the box labeled Auditor, which grants read-only access

tick the API secret acknowledgment checkbox

1. on Gemini click on the profile icon at the top right corner of your screen
 
2. click on Settings
 
3. click on API from the menu shown on the left side of your screen
 
4. click on Create API key
 
5. complete the authentication process required by the exchange
 
6. in the API keys window select Primary
 
7. in the new window you will see the following:
 
 1. API key name
 2. API key
 3. API secret
 4. a message prompting you to copy and store the secret API key in a safe place, as you will not be able to retrieve it again (make sure to copy both API keys)
 
8. tick the box labeled Auditor, which grants read-only access
 
9. tick the API secret acknowledgment checkbox
 
10. then click on Create API key
