How to create API credentials on Coinbase
Follow these simple steps to connect your Coinbase account to our software and import all your transactions into your Finbooks profile:
go to Coinbase and click on the profile icon at the top right corner
click on Settings from the drop-down menu
click on API from the menu on the left
click on Create API Key
in the pop-up window assign a name to your API (i.e. Finbooks API), then select default for portfolio from the drop-down menu and tick the box View (read only)
now click Create & Download
coinbase will show you the two keys created which you will need to copy and store in a safe place because you will not be able to retrieve them anymore
