How to create API credentials on Bitfinex

Follow these simple steps to connect your Bitfinex account to our software and import all your transactions into your Finbooks profile:

on Bitfinex, click your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen

make sure to tick only the read access options and deselect all the others 

choose a name for the key you are about to create

follow the security instructions provided by Bitfinex to complete the process

once the security procedure is completed, Bitfinex will display two keys. You must copy and store them in a safe place, as you will not be able to retrieve them again

2. API Key Secret

1. on Bitfinex, click your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen
 
2. go to the API Keys menu 
 
3. click on Create New Key
 
4. make sure to tick only the read access options and deselect all the others 
 
5. choose a name for the key you are about to create
 
6. click on Generate API Key
 
7. follow the security instructions provided by Bitfinex to complete the process
 
8. once the security procedure is completed, Bitfinex will display two keys. You must copy and store them in a safe place, as you will not be able to retrieve them again
