What to export

To connect XTB to Finbooks, you'll need to export your Cash operations history from the xStation 5 Web Platform in Excel format. This file contains the full history of your account, including closed positions, dividends, and fees.

⚠ You must export the complete cash operations history

Finbooks needs the full cash operations history to accurately calculate your cost basis, tracking everything from closed positions to dividends and fees.

If the full history cannot be exported in a single file, make sure that all uploaded files together cover the full period without gaps.


How to export the Cash operations Excel file from xStation 5

Follow these steps to export the file from the xStation 5 Web Platform.

1. log in to the xStation 5 Web Platform

2. head to the Account history tab at the bottom of the screen

3. click on the Cash operations sub-tab

4. click the Export (new) button

5. in the settings pop-up:

- select All under the date range/calendar icon

- set the file format to Excel (.xlsx)

- ensure all your currency sub-accounts (e.g., EUR, USD) are selected

6. click Generate and then Download the file
