Connect Swissquote to Finbooks via CSV file

🟣 Traditional Finance guide

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from Swissquote to Finbooks via CSV.

What to upload

To connect Swissquote to Finbooks, you'll need the Transactions CSV exported from your Swissquote eTrading account. This file contains your trading activity, including shares, ETFs, funds, and crypto transactions.

⚠ You must import the complete history of your Swissquote account

The Transactions CSV must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you started trading on Swissquote until the date you generate the export.

If the full history cannot be downloaded in a single export, make sure that all uploaded files together cover the full period without gaps.

How to download the Transactions CSV

Follow these steps to download the CSV file from Swissquote:

1. log in to your Swissquote eTrading account via desktop

2. from the top navigation menu, go to Portfolio and click Transactions

3. adjust the timeframe filter to match the complete tax year or period you need to declare

4. if you trade in multiple currencies (e.g. GBP, EUR, USD), select All Accounts so they combine into a single export

â„č Why this matters

If you don't select All Accounts, each currency account will export separately, and you'll need to upload each file to cover your full transaction history.

5. select all transaction types to include

6. click the Export CSV button in the top right corner

7. download the CSV file to your device
