In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your options trading and transaction history from AvaOptions to Finbooks.
What to upload
To connect AvaOptions to Finbooks, you'll need the Account Statement report, exported to Excel from either the AvaOptions Platform or the AvaTrade website.
â ïž You must import the complete history of your AvaOptions account
The Account Statement must cover the entire period of account usage, from the first day you started trading on AvaOptions until today.
If the full history cannot be exported in a single report, make sure that all uploaded files together cover the full period without gaps.
How to export your AvaOptions trading history
Follow these steps to download the CSV file from AvaOptions:
open the AvaOptions Platform and go to Reports in the top menu bar
select Reports to bring up the terminal options at the bottom
choose Account Statement as the report type
select your desired date range. Only business days can be selected, so choose the range that best covers your full trading history
set the transaction filter to Closed (Completed) to populate realized gains and losses, then click Update
