If you receive the notification [N] linked transfer pair, it means Finbooks has identified pairs of transactions that it recognises as transfers between your own wallets or exchanges, and has linked them automatically.
What happened, exactly?
Transfers always come in pairs: one outgoing transaction and one incoming transaction. When Finbooks finds two transactions that match with certainty, it pairs them automatically, so they are correctly classified and do not affect your capital gains or portfolio value.
To learn what a transfer is, read this article.
Is any action required?
No. The pairing is already done. This notification exists for transparency: you can check the pairs and modify them manually at any time if you believe a link is not correct.
Click on the Check them button on the notification to review the linked pairs; for detailed instructions, read our guide on transfer management.
