How to create API credentials on BitStamp

Follow these simple steps to connect your BitStamp account to our software and import all your transactions into your Finbooks profile:

On BitStamp click on the profile icon on the top right corner of your screen

in the menu shown on the left of your screen select API access

now press the New API key button on the right of your screen

tick the box Read main account balances and transactions

complete the security steps required by the exchange

remember to save and store your API in a safe place because you will not be able to recover them in the future

1. On BitStamp click on the profile icon on the top right corner of your screen
 
2. click on Settings
 
3. in the menu shown on the left of your screen select API access
 
4. now press the New API key button on the right of your screen
 
5. tick the box Read main account balances and transactions
 
6. now press on Create new API key
 
7. complete the security steps required by the exchange
 
8. remember to save and store your API in a safe place because you will not be able to recover them in the future
