Connect a Bitcoin wallet to Finbooks

đŸ”” Crypto guide

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to connect your Bitcoin address to Finbooks via API and automatically import the transactions you made on-chain.

Identify all your Bitcoin addresses

Make sure you identify all the addresses you have used on Bitcoin.

Each address must be linked to ensure that all your transactions are imported.

If you have multiple addresses, repeat the linking process for each one to capture your complete transaction history.

If your wallet uses keys such as xpub, ypub or zpub, we recommend using these options, which automatically include all addresses generated by the wallet and allow you to import your entire transaction history in a single step.

In this case, when creating the connection, select Bitcoin public key from the drop-down menu.

If, on the other hand, you have a single address, choose the Bitcoin address option.

Repeat the process for each address to be linked using the Add address button.
