Finbooks now offers four account tiers for UK users: Free trial, Basic, Pro, and Human. Each tier gives access to a different set of features, so you can choose the one that best matches how you use Finbooks.

Free trial
The free trial lets you explore the entire product with no restrictions for 7 days.
During this period you have access to every feature available on the Pro plan, so you can fully evaluate connections, transactions, portfolio, and strategies before deciding which plan to subscribe to.
⚠️ Tax reports are not available during the free trial and can only be generated with a paid plan.
All other Finbooks features are available during the free trial, allowing you to explore the platform and test its functionality before purchasing a subscription.

Basic
The Basic plan is designed for users who need the core functionality of Finbooks without the more advanced features. It includes:
unlimited connections, so you can link all your wallets and exchanges to import your data
unlimited transactions, giving you access to your full imported transaction history without any limitation
report generation, so you can produce the documents you need for tax purposes
It does not include:
portfolio, so you won't have access to portfolio tracking and overview tools
strategies, so tax-optimization strategy features are not available on this tier
chat support — support is available by email only on this plan, rather than live chat
automatic update of connections, meaning your connections won't sync automatically and will need to be refreshed manually
This plan suits users with straightforward needs who mainly want to import data and generate reports, without needing portfolio insights or proactive support.
Pro
The Pro plan includes the full product, with all features available and no restrictions — connections, transactions, reporting, portfolio, strategies, automatic connection updates, and chat support are all included. This is the plan best suited to users who want full visibility over their holdings and access to every tool Finbooks offers.
Human
The Human plan is available to all UK users, regardless of tax number. This makes it accessible to a broader range of users than the standard tiers, which may have eligibility tied to having a tax number on file.

What this means if you already have a paid subscription

If you currently hold a paid subscription, it will be automatically converted to the Pro plan at your next renewal date. If you're currently on the Newbie plan, your existing discount will carry over for the lifetime of your subscription.
