Ledger is a multichain wallet, which means it can hold cryptocurrencies across multiple blockchains (for example, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and more).

Identify all the chains you’ve used with Ledger

Before starting the connection, it’s important to identify which blockchains you’ve interacted with through your Ledger device.

  • open Ledger Live and check the list of all active accounts

  • for each account, verify which blockchain it belongs to (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polygon, etc.)
